The day begins with an early morning pickup from your accommodation in Arusha, followed by a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park. After arriving, you'll enjoy the tree top adventure, spending several hours walking among the trees before concluding the day with a guided game drive through the park, where you can spot various wildlife before returning to Arusha in the evening.

Tarangire National Park Day Trip

Your adventure begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel in Arusha or Moshi around 6:00 AM, followed by a scenic drive of approximately 2–3 hours to Tarangire National Park. Upon arrival at the park gate, you'll complete registration and begin your full-day game drive through the park's diverse landscapes, famous for its ancient baobab trees and large herds of elephants. You'll explore the Tarangire River area, a vital water source that attracts a wide variety of wildlife including lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and over 300 species of birds. Around midday, enjoy a picnic lunch at one of the designated sites inside the park with views of the surrounding wilderness. After lunch, continue your game drive through different habitats, keeping an eye out for elusive predators and unique birdlife. In the late afternoon, begin your journey back to Arusha or Moshi, arriving at your hotel in the early evening, filled with unforgettable memories of the African savannah.
