Your journey begins at the Marangu Gate, the entry point to Kilimanjaro National Park at 1,720 meters above sea level. This gate marks the start of the popular Marangu Route, one of the classic paths taken by climbers ascending Mount Kilimanjaro. Here, your guide will share interesting insights into the history of this route and why it remains a favorite among trekkers. You'll also witness climbers gearing up for their trek.

Next, we’ll take a short walk to a nearby lush valley, locally known as the "evergreen valley," home to a charming small waterfall. After exploring the valley, we head to another part of the village to discover the heritage of the Chagga people. You’ll get a chance to explore ancient caves that the Chagga carved out centuries ago during conflicts with the Maasai.

The experience continues with a traditional coffee tour. We’ll visit a local coffee farm where you'll see firsthand how coffee is grown, harvested, and prepared using age-old methods—ending with a freshly brewed cup of local coffee.

After enjoying a warm local lunch at a nearby restaurant, we’ll set off on a scenic hike to the magnificent Kilasiya Waterfall. As the day winds down, we’ll return to Moshi in the late afternoon, taking with us wonderful memories of nature, culture, and adventure.
