Day 1: Arusha - Serengeti National Park

Your adventure kicks off  with a pickup from your hotel in Arusha. Once everyone is on board, you'll begin the scenic 240 km journey to Serengeti National Park, which typically takes around six hours. The name "Serengeti" comes from a local language and translates to "endless plains"—a fitting description as the grasslands seem to stretch infinitely, blending seamlessly into the horizon. Spanning approximately 14,763 square kilometers, the park challenges our sense of scale and space.

Serengeti is world-famous for hosting Africa’s iconic “Big Five” — elephant, rhino, buffalo, lion, and leopard. In addition to these majestic creatures, you might also encounter the graceful impala, one of the continent’s most striking antelopes. The park boasts the highest concentration of plains game in Africa, offering exceptional wildlife viewing.

You'll spend much of your day exploring the heart of the Serengeti — the Seronera region. This central area is renowned for its rich biodiversity and the Seronera River, a key water source that attracts numerous species. Keep an eye out for the many lion prides that thrive here, as well as the famous Serengeti kopjes — dramatic granite outcrops rising from the grasslands that offer shelter to a variety of wildlife and plant life.

A picnic lunch will be enjoyed in the midst of your game drive, allowing you to soak in the beauty of the savannah. After a full day of exploration, you’ll head to your accommodation for a delicious dinner and a well-earned rest.

Day 2: Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro

After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive through Serengeti National Park. Then, head towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you’ll have a picnic lunch. Ngorongoro Crater, the largest collapsed volcanic crater on Earth, spans fourteen kilometers of breathtaking natural scenery. Surrounded by a ring of extinct volcanoes, the crater floor, with its numerous watering holes, is home to over 30,000 animals. End the day with a hearty dinner and a restful night in your accommodation.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha

On the final day of your safari, you'll begin with an early breakfast before heading down into the Ngorongoro Crater. This massive caldera, the largest inactive, unfilled volcanic crater on Earth, covers 260 square kilometers and plunges to a depth of over 2,000 feet. A 5-hour game drive across the crater floor will provide ample opportunities to spot a variety of wildlife. Keep your camera ready to capture sightings of African elephants, buffalo, black rhinos, hippos, hyenas, cheetahs, and lions. After enjoying a picnic lunch at the picturesque Hippo Pool, you'll begin the steep ascent back up the crater. The final stretch of your safari includes a 4-hour drive back to Arusha. By evening, you'll be dropped off at your preferred location, taking with you unforgettable memories of this remarkable adventure.
